Envirepel Energy Inc. was founded by two visionaries-Anthony Arand and Dave Gamble- who merged their independently-derived perspectives on how to solve multiple local environmental and energy problems by capturing organic waste and converting it into "clean" energy.
Anthony J Arand. Mr. Arand directs and allocates the company's resources to accomplish Envirepel Energy's mission. As the founder and chief architect of the Company, he also consults on technology, regulatory and engineering issues. Mr. Arand has continuous work experience in engineering, chemical manufacturing, production, sales, field applications, university and private contractor research, and regulatory actions including product registrations, lobbying and regulations. He holds patents in selective organic chemistry extraction and petroleum reformulation using low temperature catalytic process. He started his Aerospace career as a Mechanical Engineer for Hughes Aircraft in 1980. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic University - San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Teri Mathes. Ms. Mathes oversees all financial activities of the corporation including preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook. She directs the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies. She oversees the accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions. She reviews budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggests methods of improving the planning process as appropriate. Other duties include estimating requirements for capital, land, buildings, and increases in the work force, as well as working with banks and investment bankers to raise additional capital as required for expansion. Prior to working for Envirepel, Ms. Mathes was Assistant Controller for Mimi's Café, and brings 16 years of experience in the accounting field.
Jim Farooquee. Mr. Farooquee was born in Karachi Pakistan and Immigrated to US in 1976, and graduated in 1973 from Karachi Technical Collage in Civil Engineering. Mr. Farooquee has been an active Investor, Owner, developer and builder of companies. He was President and founder of CMS Enhancement; he spearheaded the company to revenue run rate of over $500 million in 1994.
Dr. Sylvia Boltz Tucker. Dr. Tucker has been involved in education and industrial participation for over 50 years. During her career she has either taught, managed, been on the Board of Directors, or created advanced educational programs at Oregon State University, University of Cincinnati, United States International University in San Diego, University of California, Riverside, and the Claremont Graduate School in Claremont California. Dr. Tucker has been awarded many educational achievement awards in pioneering advanced learning methods including writing the first Charter School charters in the State of California.
Peter Ullrich. Mr. Ullrich has served as a director of the Company since June of 2009. Mr. Ullrich is also the owner and Chairman of the Board of Esmeralda Farms, an innovative leader in the international floral industry. Mr. Ullrich has been involved in all aspects of the international floral industry for over 35 years. He is a pioneer in developing and adopting cutting-edge technologies that not only assist in building better business in the floral industry but creating cleaner and safer working environments for his 5,000-plus employees. Mr. Ullrich was the recipient of the 2006 SAF Gold Medal Achievement Award. He was born and educated in Germany
William David Gamble, Sr. As the chief architect of the combustion technology, Mr. Gamble is a Consulting Engineer working with solid fueled biomass energy systems ranging in size from 20-250 MMBTU/Hr and 100 KW to 15 MW. He works with clients to develop energy solutions based on biomass-related fuel materials. His areas of experience include studies, economic evaluations, scope development, preliminary engineering, design engineering, equipment specifications, control systems design, facilities layout, construction monitoring, startup support, operator training, and system commissioning. In addition, he works with clients to optimize existing solid fueled biomass energy systems.
